To get to Terri's Homestay from the NORTH:
Take Hwy 101 south to the Penngrove/Petaluma Blvd. North exit. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Drive approximately 4 miles until you get to the obvious Downtown area (street narrows with plenty of stores on either side, and then bends significantly to the left). Several blocks beyond the Downtown turn right onto "d" Street (at the 7-11 Store). Stay on "D" Street, which becomes the Point Reyes/Petaluma Road, for about 16 miles. After passing the Nicasio Reservoir you come to a stop sign. Turn right (this is the continuation of the Petaluma/Point Reyes Road) and drive 3 miles to a "T" at Hwy 1. Turn left onto Hwy 1 (you'll be heading south). Go through the town of Pt. Reyes Station, cross green bridge and turn right on the road to Inverness. After about a mile, you will go through Inverness Park, past Busy Bee Bakery, Inverness Park Grocery/Perry's Deli. continue 1/2 mile to Drake's View Drive (Chris' Hair Design is at the foot of the the hill) and turn left. Climb steep and windy road, 1.1 miles. Just after #300 Drakes View Drive, the paved road turns right and you'll see a sculpture of a dolphin and a crab on the left. Make this left (across traffic) onto Sunnyside Drive. (It's a dirt road.) Go past Dover. Terri's Homestay is on the left, (3rd driveway past Dover).
Park on the road above the driveway. To maintain the neighborhood harmony, please drive 1/10 of a mile beyond Terri's Homestay sign, make a U-turn at the first street (Behr Lane) and proceed back to parking area. Please do not use driveways to turn around!
 from the SOUTH:
To get to the Point Reyes area, come north on Hwy 101, take the San Anselmo exit and stay on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. You will go through several towns and then be out in the country. (Approx. 20 miles.) Eventually you will get to a stop sign in Olema at Hwy 1, the shoreline Highway. Turn right, go two miles and take the left turn to Inverness before the green bridge.  from the EAST BAY:
I-580 across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge to Marin County. Take the 1st San Anselmo exit (after San Quentin exit) and continue past the Larkspur Landing complex, under the freeway and onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd. You will go through several towns and then be out in the country. SUSAN'S SPECIAL DIRECTIONS FROM SACRAMENTO AREA:
 Rt. 80 to Rt 37.
Just past the "Entering Marin County" sign, you'll come upon hills
Exit at Black Point, Atherton and make a LEFT
Atherton becomes San Marin Drive.
Drive through a residential area.
Apple Market Shopping Center
Starbucks is a good pit stop.
Past shopping center, you'll see a school.
Past school, turn RIGHT onto Novato Blvd.
Go 6 miles
LEFT onto Pt. Reyes/Petaluma Road
on LEFT you'll see The Cheese Factory (good cheese. Good Pit stop too)
At the STOP sign, make a RIGHT over little bridge towards Pt. Reyes Station
At the next STOP make a LEFT on to RT. 1
Park as soon as you can for:
Bovine Bakery on the Right
Point Reyes Books on the Right.
Palace Market on the Left.
Toby's Feed Barn on Left.
Station House Restaurant on Left, down the street.
Ready to go to Terri's?
Proceed down Rt. 1
End of town, turn RIGHT
Just past little bridge turn RIGHT onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
In Inverness:
Look for Busy Bee Bakery on the Left - good pastry
Spirit Matters on the Left - very nice shop
Past Inverness look for little blue store on the corner
LEFT up Drakes View Drive.
Switch back, steep street.
Look for metal sculpture of crab, etc. - Sunnyvale
LEFT onto Sunnyvale
Terri's Homestay on the LEFT.
